Principal Solutions Architect — Financial Technology
Spearhead architectural discovery, core banking integrations, and transaction switch designs for global fintech partners under strict regulatory requirements.
Core Technical Scope & Deliverables
In this role, you will be directly responsible for system correctness, operational stability, and technical leadership across the following dimensions:
- Formulate reference architectures for payment gateways, ledger synchronization, and real-time fraud mitigation.
- Translate client regulatory and compliance constraints into immutable technical blueprints.
- Provide advisory leadership to engineering squads during legacy mainframe extraction and event streaming cutovers.
- Lead technical pre-sales and architectural discovery workshops with client CTOs and Principal Architects.
Engineering Prerequisites
We evaluate candidates against demonstrated systems experience and sound foundational thinking:
- 10+ years architecting enterprise software with 5+ years in financial services or payment processing.
- In-depth understanding of PCI-DSS, ISO 20022 message protocols, and idempotent financial ledger design.
- Proven track record executing legacy core banking migrations with zero transaction loss.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with executive engineering leadership.
Preferred / Nice-to-Have Background
- Direct experience architecting high-throughput transaction switches with Kafka and Apache Flink.
- Familiarity with open banking APIs (PSD2) and financial data interoperability standards.
